Lotto fraudster arrested in Kumasi

A lotto fraudster by name Fordjour Richard operating as "THE RULERS" has been arrested in Kumasi by the Ashanti Regional Police command.

Fordjour Richard has been paying an 'outrageous' Commission of over 40% thereby destroying the business of Lotto Marketing Companies who sell directly to the National Lottery Authority for a Commission of 20%.

Fordjour Richard and his operating Company 'THE RULERS' is not registered entity with the National Lottery Authority(NLA).

In an interview with the Head of Public Relations Unit of NLA, Mr. Razak Opoku, payment of outrageous Commission at the detriment of Lotto Marketing Companies would not tolerated by the National Lottery Authority(NLA).

Per the roadmap, very soon both the Lotto Marketing Companies and Private Lotto Operators would have the same Commission.

Mr. Fordjour Richard has not make any effort to apply to the NLA for license but has been deceiving the staking public in Ashanti Region that he has acquired License from the National Lottery Authority(NLA) to operate lottery and pays Commission of 40%.

Setting the records straight

1. Mr. Fordjour Richard and his Company "THE RULERS" is not licensed by the NLA.

2. Mr. Fordjour Richard and his Company has not pay any License fees to the NLA for registration.

3. Mr. Fordjour Richard and his Company has not been permitted by the National Lottery Authority(NLA) to pays Commission of 40%.

The general public is therefore encouraged to report any Private Lotto Operator who pays outrageous Commission to the National Lottery Authority
