Lets live in peace and harmony - Nana Appiah

The Omanhene of Manso-Nkwanta Traditional Area, Nana Bi-Kusi Appiah II, has called on the people to live in peace and harmony.

He tasked them to avoid acts of indiscipline and lawlessness and create the right atmosphere for smooth socio-economic development of the area.

The Omanhene said this when speaking at separate meetings with the chiefs and people of Manso-Afraso, Datano, Fawotrikye and Manso Gyeduako, which are part of his traditional council.

Nana Bi-Kusi said that, there could not be any meaningful progress in a community where the people were at each other’s throat and advised them to refer all stool matters and disputes to the traditional council for prompt and peaceful resolution.

He two major sources of worry were the upsurge of illegal mining which was destroying cocoa farms and polluting water bodies and the bad nature of roads in the area which made it difficult for the movement of goods and services.**
