President John Evans Atta Mills on Wednesday asked Ghanaians to let the love of Christ reflect on their lives as the nation celebrates Easter.
In his Easter message to the nation delivered at the Osu Castle in Accra, President Mills wished all Ghanaians the best of the season, and expressed the hope that the season would motivate all to sacrifice more for the nation as Christ did for the world.
“As we rejoice in the love of Christ, let us remember of the need to also show love and help to grow our nation,” he said.
He reminded Ghanaians of the essence of the occasion, and asked people to show love to the underprivileged.
President Mills cautioned against over-indulgence in the celebration, and prayed that the season passes without any accident.**
