Legon students demonstrate against SSNIT Loan

Accra, Oct 30, GNA - Students of the University of Ghana, Legon, on Wednesday embarked on a peaceful demonstration to demand the payment of their SSNIT Students' Loans.

Speaking to the GNA, the students who disrupted lectures expressed their discontent at the delay in processing their SSNIT loans, which they said they badly needed for their upkeep.

SSNIT in a statement said it has processed 7,500 loan forms out of 11,900 submitted from the University of Ghana.
