Legon sacks students for admission fraud

Accra, Sept. 8, GNA - Ten students of the University of Ghana have Been withdrawn from the University following their involvement in recent admission fraud.

A statement, dated September 6, and signed by the Acting Registrar of Academic Affairs Directorate of the University of Ghana, Mr. Enoch A. Amartey gave the names of the withdrawn students as:-

Azeezm Idiat - B.Sc. Nursing

Hiamey Caleb Elolo - Bachelor of Science

Abaloo Godwin Alhonse - Bachelor of Arts

Mensah Michael - Bachelor of Arts

Agyemang Frank - Bachelor of Arts

Ameyaw Eva - Bachelor of Arts

Fordjor Christina Aku - Bachelor of Arts

Osei Emmanuel - Bachelor of Science

Giwah Suleman - Bachelor of Arts

Adaboo Anthony - Bachelor of Arts

The statement warned the withdrawn students not to present themselves at the impending matriculation Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2007
