Legon GRASAG commissions projects to mark their 25th anniversary

The Graduate Students Association Of Ghana(GRASAG), University Of Ghana Chapter has commissioned various projects done by the 2017/2018 Leadership Of GRASAG-UG.

These projects according to the GRASAG President Ato Brown will go a long way to improve on students welfare and enhance teaching and learning, "as we strive to achieve the status of a world class University and as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of GRASAG at UG."

The projects include Renovation and Refurbishment of 4 Reading rooms at Valco Trust Hall and 1 TV room for the hall. GRASAG also provided study chairs, Tables, Air conditioners, curtains, Fans, sofa chairs and a 43inches Television for the Hall.

Dean of Students Affairs- Prof.Godfred Alufer Bopkin, who was present during the commissioning said "this we believe has changed the face of the facilities of the Hall."

He stated that the time has come for ''students to also contribute to the development of this university and it’s our responsibility to put these projects into good use.''

"There should be a collective effort by management and students to safeguard the future of the University so that, we can attract more support." The Dean said.

The Hall Master of Valco Trust Hall, Dr. Adomako commended the Leadership Of GRASAG-UG for such a novelty and charged subsequent student leaders to also emulate the gesture.

The president of GRASAG, Ato Brown stated that, "the Graduate Students Association Of Ghana- University of Ghana Chapter will always seek to address students needs and make their stay on campus a better one."
