Leading NPP Man Is New GFA Boss

... Amoah withdrew at the last minute
Reports from the GFA Congress currently in progress in Accra has it that Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party, has has been elected Chairman of the Ghana Football Association.

The other contestant, Dr. Kofi Amoah allegedly withdraw from the race at the last minute making the choice of Dr. Tamakloe a foregone conclusion.

He takes over from Uncle Ben Kuofie, whose term of office expired, but refused to seek re-election.
