"Langa-Langa" Diplomat Dismissed!

The Dutch government has dismissed its diplomat, Peter Zwart, who beat up an employee of Safetech Security Services with a locally made cutlass known as ?langa-langa?.

The victim, Mussah Issifu, had been sent on duty to the diplomat?s house.

A letter from the Charge d?Affairs of the Dutch Embassy in Accra dated 29th January 2003 said ?as a consequence of the outcome of investigation, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to terminate the assignment of the Dutch diplomat involved in the incident in Accra, with immediate effect?
