Pressure group Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA) has said that it will investigate the absence of 5 million voters out of the 15 million registered voters in the electoral register.

Speaking at a press conference, Convener of the group, David Asante indicated that only one-third of persons whose names were recorded in the electoral register participated in the voting exercise on December 7, a situation he indicated calls for questioning.

He stated that a later review of the electoral register will be done to find out if these names reflect existing voters.

Meanwhile, Mr. Asante commended the Electoral Commission, political parties, the media and the general Ghanaian populace for their involvement in ensuring a free, fair and credible electoral process.

According to him, the vigilance of Ghanaians after the exercise ensured a fair outcome of election results.
