Today’s discussions on Newsfile will center on issues surrounding Akufo-Addo’s approval of the Special Prosecutor Bill and four others passed by parliament, a move that completes the legal requirement for the establishment of the Office of the Special Prosecutor following its passage by Parliament on November 14.

The back and forth in Parliament over Minority’s cash-for-seat allegations and issues regarding the Ghana Immigration Services’ recruitments, the huge number of shortlisted applicants, the selection process and also concerns about the sale of e-vouchers as a way to exploit applicants financially will also feature in today’s discussions.

The mandatory TV license fees and courts set up for the purposes of prosecuting offenders in that regard have been one major issue of discussion on social media and among the general public.

Panelists on today’s edition of the show, together with host Sampson Anyenini will look at the concerns being raised by Ghanaians as far as the issue of TV license is concerned, the fact that the monies will be channeled into funding for the State Broadcasting Coporation (GCB) among others.
