A summary of all the events that happened within the year, particularly on the political front will be brought to the fore during a review session on Joynews’ analysis show; Newsfile today.

As expected, it wasn’t a year void of political controversies, policy outlines that sparked trouble, media issues and of course financial sector woes following the Central Bank’s clean up exercise.

With a diversity of panelists, for each topic, the show will focus on areas including media freedom, the country’s educational reforms and the future of the Ghanaian student, Elections, electoral violence and political vigilantism, the financial sector crisis, public debt management debate and cedi depreciation.

Under media freedom, focus will be put on the score card in three years, under education, panelists would seek to dwell on issues regarding how globally competitive the current educational system is and under political violence, focus will be on the law and its sufficiency as far as handling the subject is concerned.

Join panelists including Suleman Braimah, Liz Hayfron Asare, Prof. Kwasi Prempeh who will tackle the media, Bright Simmons, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Kofi Abotsi, and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who will speak on education, John Boadu, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo who will speak on political vigilantism and Gabby Otchere-Darko, John Jinapor and Doris Yaa Aggrey Ahiati who will focus on the financial sector crisis.

Hosts Sampson Anyenini and Evans Mensah will bring closure to some of these pertinent issues which headlined the news in the the last and final edition of Newsfile for the year 2019.
