Justice Sophia Akuffo has been nominated by the President to succeed out going Chief Justice Georgina Wood. If approved, she will be the second female Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana. Justice Sophia Akuffo is an experienced member of the judiciary with more than 3 decades of practice.
