As part of the activities marking Ghana's 68th Independence Day celebration on March 6, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama will present awards to students at the President's School Children Awards Programme.

The event aims to recognize and honor outstanding students from across the country for their academic achievements and contributions to national development.

This year’s activities, including historical commemorations, student competitions, and a grand ceremonial parade, aim to revive national interest and deepen public participation in Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations while honoring the country’s historical heroes.
