Ghana’s educational sector has been gravely affected since the onset of the deadly Coronavirus across the globe.

Levels of education including the basic, secondary and tertiary have been shut down as part of measures put in place to manage the rapid spread of the pandemic.

Some tertiary institutions have had to resort to online mode of studies to ensure the completion of courses applied by students. But majority of students have been sent home.

The West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been cancelled with candidates being sent home as a result.

The ministry of education is addressing the country on measures being put in place as Ghana's recorded cases of the disease continue to surge.
