Farmers across the nation are being celebrated today, Friday, December 5, 2025, for their dedication and hard work.

Every year, on the first Friday of December, Ghana observes Farmers' Day to honor farmers across the country.

This year’s event, themed “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future,” is being held at the Ho Sports Stadium in the Volta Region.

The celebration marks the beginning of a week-long showcase of agricultural innovation, technology, and strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening Ghana’s food systems and enhancing resilience in the sector.

Today, President John Dramani Mahama will honor the nation’s best farmers across various crop categories and other key areas of agriculture.
