The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) is expected to hold a press briefing at its head office in Accra on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
The briefing, which forms part of the “Let the Citizens Know” initiative, is expected to provide information to concerned stakeholders and the general public on the EC's operations.
EC chairperson, Jean Mensa, and her executives will speak on various concerns that have been raised on illegal voter transfers that have been found in the Provisional Voter Register for the pending 2024 general elections.
Before that however, the commission is still receiving the nomination forms of presidential hopefuls for the 2024 presidential election at its head office in Accra.
32 presidential hopefuls are expected to file their nominations at the EC head office from Monday, September 9, 2024, to Friday, September 13, 2024.
The Chairperson of the EC, Jean Mensa, has been receiving the nomination forms from the aspirants.
