LIVE UPDATES: Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool travel to Selhurst Park for the first Monday Night Football of the season to face Crystal Palace tonight.

Both sides will be looking to continue perfect starts to their respective league campaigns after Liverpool hammered West Ham 4-0 at Anfield and Palace produced a fantastic away performance to beat Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage on the opening day.

In the same fixture last season, a Luka Milivojevic penalty gave the Eagles an early lead, before second-half goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah earned all three points for Jurgen Klopp's men.

Palace have enjoyed a number of impressive results against Monday night's opponents, winning four of the last eight fixtures against the Reds, including three in a row at Anfield between 2015-2017.

But the Reds return to Selhurst Park on Monday with renewed title aspirations after an emphatic win over the Hammers on the opening day reinforced the belief that Klopp has built a team ready to challenge.

From a Ghanaian perspective, Jordan Ayew starts from the bench and could play his first game for Crystal Palace tonight.
