All Presiding Members of the Volta Region have paid a courtesy visit on the Volta Region Member on the Council of State, Dr Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple.

The visit happened when the PMs were in Accra attending the National Conference of Presiding Members Ghana at the Institute of Local Government.

Making this known in a post on Facebook, Dr Kwamigah-Atokple said that their visit “was truly humbling and a symbol of unity and commitment,” because “we all share for the development of the region.”

He also said he reassured the group of his resolve to support younger people in future to aspire to be on the Council of State of Ghana.

“I assured them that I remain steadfast in representing the Volta Region and welcomed their decision to support a younger Member for the Council of State, a move that reflects their forward-thinking approach to leadership and continuity,” he added.

Together, they also had discussions on key issues affecting the districts in the Volta Region, including land litigation and the need for equitable development across all districts and beyond.
