The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has reflected on his experiences as a spokesperson for the government, emphasising the importance of teamwork and learning from past experiences.

According to the Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu-Kwamankese, he has enjoyed strong cooperation from colleagues across all age groups and levels of experiences.

"I've enjoyed the fullest extent of cooperation from my colleagues, irrespective of age, experience, or longevity. I guess that we all understand that we are working towards one goal, and that it's best to work together, to work as a team, and not individually. That way, we are able to achieve more.

"We've also learned from the past. We are maybe young, but I've been around for some time. So, I've served in this capacity before, albeit as deputy, there were lessons that we drew from what happened in the past. And as we've gone along, we'll try to let what we do reflect those lessons that we've learned," he noted in an interview on JoyNews and monitored by GhanaWeb on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

Despite the challenges, Kwakye Ofosu believes the team has achieved significant progress.

"It's not been easy, but I think that thus far, it's been quite successful," he noted.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu also lauded President John Dramani Mahama for guiding him during the early days of his career.

"In my younger years, he took interest in me and tried to mold the way that I engaged. He always stressed the need to be civil, patient, calm, and respectful of the audience. Every opportunity he gets, he encourages my colleagues to cooperate with me so that together, we can shape the way government information is disseminated," he added.
