The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has revealed that President John Dramani Mahama will extend stakeholder consultations to Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) after concluding engagements with labour unions.

Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV’s Face to Face on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Kwakye Ofosu said the move forms part of efforts to incorporate diverse perspectives into government decision-making.

“Once he’s done with Organised Labour, he will turn his attention to CSOs. He will engage CSOs so that they will also bring their perspective to bear on governance, and through that we can get the best ideas for policy fine-tuning and better implementation,” he said.

Every gov’t must continuously engage with CSOs to improve the quality of governance – Mahama

His comments follow a meeting between President Mahama and Organised Labour on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, held in response to the recent strike.

The planned engagement with CSOs is expected to broaden consultations and improve policy formulation and implementation.
