Kwahu East DCE cuts sod for construction of Hweehwee market

The DCE for Kwahu East, Hon Isaac Agyapong has cut the sod for the construction of an Ultra Modern Market with Ancillary facilities for the people of Hweehwee and its environs as part of infrastructural development within the district. The market was established by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah over sixty years ago and currently in a deplorable state

The Market is expected to boost the local Economy of the District. Hweehwee Market is one of the most vibrant markets in the Kwahu East District with over 15 surrounding villages who bring their farm produce to sell. The New Market is expected to have over 50 sheds and other ancillary Facilities.

Hon. Isaac Agyapong, charged *MASTER HAND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED,* the firm tasked with the responsibility of executing the contract, to complete the project on the scheduled time that's within 6 months.

The Chiefs and People of Hweehwee thanked Hon. Isaac Agyapong for thinking about them and also expressed Joy and Happiness to him and Hon. Bryan Acheampong, MP Abetifi for solving the Fulani Menace within the Area, he said

" we can Now do more farming and produce more food stuffs for the Ultra Modern Hweehwee Market, God Bless you MP and DCE"

Later in the Day the District Chief Executive inspected and commissioned a footbridge for the people of "Demoano" a suburb of Abene. Farmers in Demoano in Abene electoral area were finding it difficult to go to farm during the raining season due to their inability to cross two separate streams to and from farm. They presented their problem to a caring Father Hon. Isaac Agyapong and the footbridge has been constructed.

The District Chief Executive was accompanied by the Presiding Member, the District Coordinating Director and other heads of department.
