Kufuor tours Abuakwa Formulation Plant

Abuakwa (Ash), Oct 29, GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor on Friday paid a familiarisation visit to the Abuakwa Formulation Plant, producers of Confidor 200SL, the cocoa insecticide used for the cocoa mass spraying exercise at Abuakwa in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District. Mr Charles Sylvester Nsiah, the General Manager, conducted him round the plant.

The tour formed part of President Kufuor's six-day official tour of the Ashanti region.

On the third day of his visit, President Kufuor addressed durbars at Nyinahin, Nkawie, Manso-Nkwanta, Bekwai, and Kuntanase and made a whistle stop at Atwima-Foase.
