Concede Defeat, Avoid Attempting A Third Time Bid In 2016

Leading members of Nana Akufo-Addo’s Akyem faction, in the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are seething with anger about pieces of advice from former President John Agyekum Kufuor, to eat the humble pie, by conceding defeat.

One of them told The Informer; “can you imagine Kufuor’s insensitivity, asking Nana Addo not only to concede defeat, but also not attempt a third time presidential bid in 2016”

The source said, the first part of the message (that he should concede defeat) is tolerable. We are aware that Nana’s delay in conceding defeat is annoying many Ghanaians, particularly floating voters who voted for us.

We also recognized that, we had said the election results were stolen, to appease our core grass root supporters who were shocked of Nana Addo’s defeat; the source had hinted.

On the second part of Kufuor’s advice (i.e. Nana should not try the third time in 2016), “we know ex-President Kufour, has lined-up 3 persons to replaced Nana Addo in 2016” They are John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Isaac Osei and braggart Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

“These persons will become flagbearers in 2016 over our dead body; particularly that loud-mouthed Opoku Prempeh, whose insensitivity had cost Nana Addo so much in the Ashanti region following his gross misconduct in the round-up to the December 07 elections, the source pointed out.
