Helen Adjoa Ntoso, Member of Parliament (MP) for Krachi West has distributed assorted items to the less fortunate in her constituency in the newly created Oti region of Ghana.

This was a way of making less privileged kids, widows and the aged as well as prisoners smile this festive season.

Speaking at the event on Boxing Day, the MP stated, “It was fulfilling and exhilarating to host hundreds of children today in my beloved constituency”.

“Children are indeed a great gift from God. Therefore, let us continue to cherish them and train them in the way they should go so that they will grow to become great assets, not liabilities to our beloved nation,” she added.

Over 500 widows, including some physically challenged persons benefited from the MP’s kind gesture.

Ntoso's donation was a constant feature in her annual seasonal activities done to honour her people.

Some inmates at the Kete Krachi Prison also received a 49-inch LED TV, drums, lunch and soft drinks.

In his response, Adp Williams Kullah, a prison officer, who received the items on behalf of the Ghana Prisons Service thanked the MP for supporting them, especially during this season.

Helen Adjoa Ntoso asked that Ghanaians in this festive season should extend a hand of friendship and love to the less privileged, for, it gives the true meaning of the life of Christ Jesus to mankind.
