Some unhappy Asante Kotoko fans were in the studio on Vision 1, an Accra-based radio, pressing on the club's Executive Board Chairman to sack coach Zdravko Lugarusic.

This comes a day after irate fans invaded the team's Adako Jachie training ground to prevent the Croat from working with his players.

Kotoko have released a statement condemning the behaviour of the fans.

There growing pressure on Lugarusic to quit after just ten match days where he recorded five wins, three draws and two defeats.

Some fans are not happy with the team's performance despite lying third; two points behind leaders WAFA.

Kotoko are preparing to face Ebusua Dwarfs after suffering defeat in midweek at Medeama.
