The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei surprisingly threw a party for the players following their win over Coton Sport in the first leg of the Caf Confederation Cup final play-off on Sunday.

The party took place at Achimota after the players had touched down in Ghana from Cameroon.

The Porcupine Warriors left Cameroon this morning and touched down in Accra. Initially, there were reports that the players will travel by air to Kumasi but because of the surprise party, it is not clear if the players will come by air later on or they will travel by bus.

The Kumasi based business mogul was happy with the performance displayed by the players in Yaoundé, hence, he has surprised them with the party to encourage the players to do well in the return leg in Kumasi this Sunday.

Kotoko will welcome Coton Sport to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the second leg of the competition as they look to advance to the group stage for the first time since 2008.
