Kotoka International Airport is restricted area

Accra, Aug. 11, GNA - The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) on Friday reminded the public that the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) was a restricted area and people found loitering around would be dealt with according to the law.

A press release signed by Nii Adu-Mansa Badoo, Acting Director-General of GCAA, noted that recently activities of undesirable people had been on the increase at the Airport.

'Under the guise of helping passengers they harass, extort and even steal from them,' the GCAA noted.

GCAA urged the public to cooperate with it since the new measure would help to enhance safety at the Airport.
