Founder of the African University College of Communication, Kojo Yankah has officially launched his latest book labelled “Our Motherland-My Life” at a small gathering in Jamestown.

“Our Motherland-My Life” is a seventeen-chapter book with thought-provoking journey through the eyes and life of Kojo Yankah that talks about African values and how it must be preserved particularly in nation-building.

The book guides readers through the experiences of Kojo Yankah from his days as a youngster in school, leading to a career and service in politics, to becoming founder/president of the African University College of Communications.

Kojo Yankah said “although the book is more about myself, you will also read about the history of Ghana from independence of Ghana through the first coup d’état we had in Ghana and through all the military regimes that came after leading to the intervention of former president Jerry John Rawlings in 1979 and eventually final intervention of 31st December that has brought us this far from 1992 when we all decided we wanted a multi-party system, “he said.

For him, an opportunity to share his experience with young people to give them a feel of history and expose them a lot more to the rich culture of Ghana is enough motivation to have written the book.
