Kojo Yankah blames Normalization Committee for national teams woes

Kojo Yankah has accused the FIFA Normalization Committee for the Ghana Football Association for the recent failures of some national teams.

The outspoken former GFA Executive Committee member holds Kofi Amoah and his team responsible over their failure to ensure the domestic football is resumed.

The Black Queens of Ghana failed to qualify to the semi finals of the African Woman Cup of Nations whiles the Black Maidens were also knocked out of the quarter finals of World under 17 women Championship in Uruguay despite a 100% record in the group stage winning all three games but were eliminated by Mexico on penalty shootout.

” The normalization committee are to blame for the failures of our various national teams.

“All these problems will be solved when we start playing our league. What are they waiting for ” he quizzed on Asempa FM.

“The Normalization Committee should call for congress instead of thinking about how to get an extension.

“Their first priority is how to get an extension. They aren’t thinking about our league” He added.
