Business mogul Kennedy Agyapong on Sunday, October 4 went to the 37 Military Hospital to visit the Deputy Minister of Communications, George Andah who is receiving treatment after sustaining severe injuries in an accident.

Reports say George Andah’s vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle in the Awutu Senya West Constituency where he represents in Parliament. Andah, who together with three others, sustained serious injuries was airlifted to the 37 Military Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Kenpong who is the Chief Executive Officer of Kenpong Group of Companies, in a show of affection and warmth for his long-time friend visited him at the hospital where he interacted with the wife of the Awutu Senya lawmaker and few family members present.

George Andah is however in a stable condition and he is responding to treatment, according to his special aide.

The special aide of the minister, Emmanuel Oscar, said three persons who were travelling with the minister sustained different levels of minor injuries.

"The bodyguard is doing well, the driver is stabilising, Honourable (Andah) is stabilizing," he told Joy FM.

Meanwhile, government officials have denied claims that the minister has been flown to the UK for medical treatment.
