Inter Allies head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi feels midweek’s 1-0 away victory over Wa All Stars could herald an improvement on the club’s form on the road.

It was the Capelli Boys’ first away win of the season which also caused troubles for the hosts to prevent them from returning to winning ways after five attempts.

Michel Otou converted a 69th-minute penalty after Chekezie Uwandu Alozie was brought down in the box to carry the day for Allies.

Kenichi as a happy man after witnessing his charges knit a second successive win (beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0 in prior to this game):

“It’s our first away win and I’m very happy about it,” he told reporters right after the game.

“Our opponents (Wa All Stars) gave us a good challenge, I don’t think they’re weak at all.”

“It’s their own stadium and they have everything they had, we just had a strong teamwork and played for each other.”

The result put Inter Allies in the top half of the table with chances of entering the top 4, the Capelli Boys lie 5th on the league with 21 points after 13 matches.
