A group of distinguished professionals including lawyers, doctors, auditors, accountants, and other experts have formally declared their support for former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, in his bid to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as flagbearer.

In a statement signed by James Gawuga Nkrumah, Esq, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the group described Agyapong as a bold, fearless, and visionary leader who consistently matches words with action.

According to the professionals, Agyapong’s record of building sustainable businesses and creating countless jobs for Ghana’s youth demonstrates his deep commitment to national development.

“He understands not only the aspirations of our young people, but also the pragmatic steps required to transform those dreams into real opportunities,” the statement indicated.

They added that Ghana is at a defining chapter in its quest for genuine transformation and requires a leader who combines courage with vision, and passion with results.

“Agyapong embodies these qualities. His proven track record, entrepreneurial spirit, and people-centered approach make him the right person to lead the NPP into victory and steer Ghana towards greater prosperity,” they said.

The group further urged all NPP delegates to rally behind Agyapong in the upcoming flagbearer contest.
