Ken Agyapong only fights people he can’t control – Bobie Ansah

Former multi-media presenter and political talkshow host, Nana Kwabena Bobie-Ansah has said MP for Assin North, Hon Kennedy Agyapong’s character is no different from former president Rawlings’ character.

According to him, former president Rawlings openly fights and shames anyone he cannot control and that is how Kennedy Agyapong is.

He said the legislator was however building a “constituency or empire” of people who owe him favours as it can be seen in the one man campaign he launched to save the job of the BOST manager, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng which he succeeded.

“I think Kennedy is playing a game and as a politician he wants to create his own ‘constituency’, Just like the BOST scandal where he succeeded in his campaign not to get the Managing director sacked, if he succeeds in saving Nyantakyi’s job then it means he has control over BOST and GFA. He is building an empire. This is simple propagandist approach.” He said.

Speaking on Agoo Tv’s Yensempa show to host Bonohene Baffour Awuah, Bobie Anash explained that the desire to hold power that allows for you to control people is something that all rich men want and that is what Kennedy Agyapong is doing. He explained that if Ken can’t control You, then he fights you.

Kennedy Agyapong, who has shown his displeasure about Anas’ modus operandi, has questioned how the journalist whose name apparently strikes fear in some people conducts his investigations. Mr Agyapong has also levelled some corruption allegations against Anas and went to the extent of leaking photos he claims to be investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw.

Bobie Ansah charged the president to call Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to order because his actions would affect the president’s reputation judging from how the president during the 2012 IEA debate said he will combat corruption using the “Anas way”.
