'Kayamata' charms pose deadly risks to families - Spiritualist warns

Renowned fetish priest and spiritualist, Nana Kese Oyeadeyie, also known as Tano Komfo Nana Kese, has cautioned against the use of 'Kayamata' charms, warning that they can have devastating consequences for families.

In an interview with OTEC News’ Kwame Agyenim Boateng on Wednesday, Nana Kese revealed that these charms not only manipulate men but also compromise their ability to spiritually protect their children and families.

“As soon as the charm starts working, the man is no longer in control, allowing different spirits to take over the home and influence the children as well,” Nana Kese explained.

His warning follows a GhanaWeb documentary exposing the dangers of 'Kayamata', a practice where some women allegedly use charms to secure financial and material support from men.

The documentary highlighted cases of women resorting to such charms, with alarming effects on relationships and families.

Nana Kese urged women to avoid such practices, emphasising the severe consequences they could bring.

A young man featured in the documentary shared his experience, stating that the charm made him give out money without thinking, which led to financial and personal problems.
