The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has honoured the director of Urban Roads, Mr Awolu Abass, for his contribution to the development of the university.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof William Otoo Ellis, who conferred the honour on him, commended Mr Abass for his continuous support to the institution.

Prof Ellis said Mr Abass was very instrumental in the maintenance and management of roads on the university campus and had been assisting in getting internship for civil engineering students as well as giving logistical support to M.Sc. students in road management.

Mr Abass was decorated with a sash and presented with a plaque for his meritorious contributions.
