The management of JUSTORCH PUB has refuted publications linking the outlet to the gruesome murder of one Lydia Ama Serwa a.k.a DC Queen.

Media reports of the incident which occurred on July 24, 2017, claims the deceased was last seen at JUSTORCH PUB drinking with friends and having fun.

“DC Queen, according to friends, was last seen hanging out at night at Just Touch Pub, where she was jamming with some friends on July 23, 2017. While taking some bottles of drinks at a table, the friends reportedly said DC Queen received a call on her mobile phone after which she told them that she was hungry and was going to buy some Indomie for supper. The friends said they waited for her, but did not come back and so they left the pub only to hear the news of her death the following day,” a Daily Guide report stated.

Management of JUSTORCH PUB in a statement issued Thursday and signed by its Director, George D. Tortchar, has distanced itself from the whole incident.

“JUSTORCH PUB will like the public to know that, no such thing happened at Justorch or anywhere around its premises and does not know the deceased anywhere,” the statement said.

The statement continued “we are amazed about how some people are trying hard to tag the pub to this gruesome incident.”

“JUSTORCH PUB continues to be a decent place where you can patronize for good treats and relaxations,” the statement concluded.

Whiles the Ghana Police Service has denied claims that parts of her body were removed for rituals, they said the body of the deceased was found with her hands and legs tied.

Lydia Ama Serwa a.k.a DC Queen is reported to be very popular on Facebook and has been described by some friends on the platform as a “town girl.”

According to the said publication, friends of the deceased alleged that the lady was LAST SEEN at JUSTORCH PUB located at Kwabenya where they were having fun. While taking some bottles of drinks at a table, DC Queen received a call on her mobile phone after which she left the premises presumably to meet with the caller. That was the last time they saw her.
