Residents of Koforidua-Nsukwao in the Eastern Regional Capital have been thrown into a state of shock as Masons working on a parcel of land occupied by a Church building on Wednesday retrieved beneath the church, skulls of sheep, bones, skeletons of animals and a pot containing juju.

The items were dug out at the entrance of the church, the floor area, and the pulpit side.

This attracted scores of residents to the scene which is near Nsukwao Spreadigle area on Wednesday afternoon.

It is believed that the Pastor who built the Church performed the rituals before building on it to draw spiritual powers to himself.

For some residents, it is a big exposure to the crooks in cassock.

Information gathered indicates the Owner of the collapsed church sold the place to a new Church which decided to demolish the building and build a new temple hence awarded the project to a contractor.
