Josiah Aryeh … Collects Board Allowance But

Does Not Attend Meetings

Intelligence Desk Report

From his effusions, it would have been assumed that Josiah Nii Armah Aryeh has been kept out of the “loop” since the National Democratic Congress (NDC) took over the reins of government, in January 2009.
Contrary to what Josiah Aryeh would want to make the world believe, The Informer has it on authority that, in spite of his traitorous and disgraceful attempt to sell the NDC to the NPP when he was the General Secretary of the ruling party, President Atta Mills, in the goodness of heart, has appointed Josiah Aryeh to some Boards.
To be specific, Josiah Aryeh is a member of the newly created Pensions Regulatory Commission Board.
Interestingly, Josiah Aryeh refuses to attend Board meetings, but makes sure that every month, he collects his sitting allowance.
The Informer is reporting on authority that Josiah Aryeh’s love for money continues to know no bounds; and so in spite of the fact that he does not attend Board Meetings, he shows up every month to collect his sitting allowance.
This paper’s source has it that, no amount of admonishing from the Board Chairman and Board Secretary, has gotten Josiah Aryeh to attend meetings.
However, once it is “Pay Day”, the discredited former General Secretary of the NDC, shows up, first thing in the morning to collect his sitting allowance.
“He never attends Board meetings but makes sure to appear every month to collect his sitting allowance”; the source told The Informer.
“Of course, once he collects the money, he vanishes into thin air, and is never seen again till the next Pay Day.” The source added.
Indeed, if President Atta Mills decides to be vicious, he can order Josiah Aryeh to be charged for deliberately and wilfully causing huge financial loss to the state by collecting money for no work done.
What it means is that, Josiah Aryeh, just like the handful of persons he is operating with, are all benefiting from the Atta Mills administration, yet they try to paint a picture of being sidelined, hence their bitterness.
It would be recalled that recently, the likes of Kofi Adams, were exposed for being a direct and gargantuan beneficiary of huge GETFund contracts under the Atta Mills Administration.
Also, one Ms. Sylvia Ahorlu, the right-hand woman of Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, is also serving on two Boards.
In the case of Michael Teye Nyaunu, apart from what he is getting behind the scenes, His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills once again exhibited his forgiving spirit when he allowed the Lower Manya MP to fly on board the Presidential Jet from Cape Verde to Ghana.
Michael Teye Nyaunu was in Cape Verde as part of an ECOWAS Parliamentary delegation; and when he seemed to have become stranded, President Atta Mills, who was in Cape Verde to join colleague Heads of State for an ECOWAS Summit, allowed the near-stranded MP to fly aboard the presidential jet.
It is pretty obvious that the more His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills continues to open his arms to his “enemies”; the more the vicious enemies plot to stab him in the back and to eliminate him.
Since the Good Lord knows the hearts of men, and knows that President Atta Mills has no ill-feeling towards his “enemies”, no matter how hard the “enemies” try to destroy the President, no weapon fashioned against John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills shall prosper.
In a related development, the Interim Chairman of the yet-to-be-certified National Democratic Party (NDP) Dr. Josiah Ayeh shocked listeners of Kessben 93.3 fm, on Wednesday, 9th June, 2012, when he verbally abused the Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Mr. Samuel Sarpong.
The Host, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye of Kessben Maakye programme in an interview with Dr. Josiah Ayeh sought to find out the party’s affiliation with the former couples, received a rather affirmative response from the Law Lecturer.
Hell broke loose when the Host played a recorded tape which was attributed to the KMA Boss addressing some NDC sympathizers.
The tape had the KMA boss counseling the sympathizers against falling victim to the deceit of the NDP, where Mr. Sarpong alluded to the infamous “Josiah Aryeh cash for betrayal tape” that led to his suspension as the General Secretary of the NDC.
Very incensed, the NDP interim Chairman, in a shocking and strange response, descended into the gutters, calling the Mayor “Stupid Chief Executive who knows nothing but given the opportunity from an ungrateful leader”.
Not even the several interventions by the Host on the need for the Chairman to be civil were accepted; the spate of unleashing of insults on the person of the mayor was in a free range as he was consistently using the insult -“stupid” amongst other insinuations and innuendos.

He (Dr Josiah Aryeh) argued he financed his own Doctorate degree in the United Kingdom without any government support and there was no indication of the Mills – Mahama administration to compensate him for his effort of contributing to mother Ghana and accused the Mayor of feeding on his toils.

Dr. Josiah Aryeh in a strong and heavy voice, vowed to drag anybody who alleges, he was involved in ‘cash for betrayal deal’ with the NPP guru Stephen Ntim to court. The level of frustrations in the voice of the Chairman was heightened as he intermittently lost his thoughts.

The conduct of the NDP Chairman received an overwhelming condemnation from callers and analysts, as most callers-in chastised the Law Lecturer’s level of intolerance in our body politic especially, when the Nation has agreed to run a civilized and issue-based campaign.

Some of the callers questioned why Dr. Josiah Aryeh, a lawyer, did not resort to the Law Court than to clear himself of the barrage of allegations levelled against him, if he was as clean as he wants Ghanaians to believe.

Meanwhile Dr. Josiah Aryeh has not entirely denied the existence of such an activity with the NPP guru that gave birth to the ‘cash for betrayal tape’, but only argues the tape was doctored.
