Speaking briefly to the newsmen at Mpataba, the newly elected Chairman, Marshall Akainyah, expressed profound gratitude to the delegates for putting trust in him.
He pledged to unite the rank and file of the party in the area and promised to bring the losing side on board.
He stated his main task is to work harder to recapture the Jomoro parliamentary seat for NPP in 2028 that they lost to the NDC in 2020.
He also promised to increase the presidential votes of Dr Bawumia in 2028.
He therefore urged his followers to avoid teasing and preach unity.
Other newly elected Executives also thanked the delegates for giving them the mandate to serve the party. They called on the rank and file of the party to come together to recapture the Jomoro parliamentary seat from the NDC in 2028.
Delegates praised the peaceful conduct of the elections at Mpataba Community Center, describing it as a demonstration of unity within the party in the constituency.
