Members of the Coalition of Unemployed Veterinary Technicians or Nurses have threatened to march to the Flagstaff House in the coming days if the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Health Ministry fail to give them clearance to be posted to various institutions to begin work.

The veterinary technicians and nurses, numbering 579, said graduates from 2011-2016 had not received any postings since their training.

Spokesperson for the group, Daniel Amoako, speaking to ClassFMonline.com, said the leadership of the group had met officials of the Food and Agriculture Ministry to address their concern but for seven weeks now nothing has been done to address their plight.

“We are a small group, we are just 579 members but since completing school, we have not been posted,” he lamented.

Mr Amoako said the group has given government a 21-day ultimatum to address their concerns and employ them or they march to the seat of government.
