Accra, Jan. 7, GNA - The Japanese Government has provided 189,846 dollars grant to two educational institutions as part of its commitment towards education in the country.

They are Suntreso Primary School in Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region and Mepe Saint Kizito Senior High and Technical School in North Tongu District of the Volta Region. The authorities of Suntreso Primary School would receive 95,028 dollars for the construction of a six-classroom block, an office, a storeroom, four KVIPs and two urinals.

The project when completed would replace the existing block built more than 60 years ago and would cater for about 360 pupils. Mr. Samuel Kena, Amansie West District Director of Education and Mr. Emmanuel Harrison Vortuame, Headmaster of Mepe Saint Kizito Senior High School, signed on behalf of their respective schools.
