Jacob’s Well donates to Tamale Teaching Hospital

Jacob’s Well Appeal Ghana, a non-governmental organisation with its parent organisation Jacob’s Well in the United Kingdom (UK), has donated a 40-feet container with medical supplies valued at £86, 000 to the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).

The items include vital medicines, education materials, medical periodicals and reference books, hygiene products and nutritional food items.

Ms Sandra Scantlebury, the Country Director of Jacob’s Well Appeal Ghana, who presented the items to authorities of TTH in Tamale, on Wednesday, said her organisation was dedicated to mobilising charitable support for disadvantaged communities.

She said the NGO had been engaging in the supply of medical equipment and medicines to support healthcare delivery in the country since 2012, therefore, her outfit was happy to support the TTH.

Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini, Deputy Northern Regional Minister, expressed gratitude to Jacob’s Well for the generous support towards health care delivery in the Region.

He assured that the items would be used judiciously to support quality health care delivery in the Region.
