Ispace unlocking women and technology pitch comes off Saturday

Ispace Ghana, a technology hub will tomorrow,April 22nd witness 12 young ladies pitch creative technological ideas at Labone in its unlocking women program series. The program which is being organised for young ladies to pitch their tech business ideas comes off after an intensive three months coding program for the ladies.

Speaking to 3FM ahead of Saturday’s event, the co-founder, Josiah Kwesi Eyison said iSpace Foundation is devoted to making sure these young ladies get all the opportunities to ensure they succeed in the tech market.

He added that, the ladies have over the past few months demonstrated a high level of commitment in ensuring that their incubating ideas become viable once they get the necessary investment. The ladies have also expressed excitement at pitching their incubating ideas which could see them start a business that will help them personally and inure to the benefits of the larger society. According to them, all their ideas are great that will help make the lives of people easy.

The event will have two renowned technological entrepreneurs grace it as judges and have indicated that they will be hoping for the best tech ideas convincing enough to attract direct investments. The judges include Amma Aboagye, founding curator of the Afropole, Science, Technology, Innovation and Partnerships Advisor at USAID West Africa and Enyo Kumahor who is the managing partner of The Cobalt Partners.
