Invest in anti-corruption institutions if… - CHRAJ

The acting Commissioner of CHRAJ Richard Quayson has tasked government to demonstrate its commitment to fight corruption by investing adequately in all anti-corruption institutions.

Mr. Quayson, who was speaking on the national anti-corruption action plan workshop in Koforidua, regretted that government continues to under-fund anti-corruption agencies, with CHRAJ being the worst funded.

He said one and a half years after fire burned the offices of the commission, it is yet to receive even a pesewa to renovate its offices and resettle staff.

"One and half years after fire gutted the offices of CHRAJ, we are yet to even receive a pesewa to renovate the office and to resettle our staff who were displaced by the fire. We must not miss out on this great opportunity to rally the nation around NACAP and restore public confidence in public offices".
