The National Organizer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba has branded President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as an intolerant leader, who in his words, orchestrated the cruel arrest of the Military officer seen in a viral video, kicking against the construction of a new chamber for parliament.

The Military High Command on Friday, July 5, 2019 arrested an Officer who is captured in a video demonstrating his displeasure against the government’s intention to construct a new 450-seater chamber for parliament.

Identified as Lance Corporal Wassa, he is still being detained by the Military in violation of his fundamental freedom according to Mr Akamba.
