The running mate of the People’s Progressive Party, Eva Lokko says insults and criticisms will not stop her quest to help her Presidential candidate Dr. Nduom to transform Ghana.
According to her, she will meander through the quagmire terrain of Ghanaian politics adding that she has the antidote to the acrimonious situation.
“Am a mother and every mother has to deal with difficult situation so definitely in terms of stress, terms or whatever it takes I will be okay.
“But the insults must stop, if they don’t stop it won’t stop me, I will go ahead, I have a team with me and I think that I have Ghana with me. Because all want to develop Ghana so if people will throw mud that won’t be a big deal” Eva Lokko told XYZ News in an interview.
Miss Eva Lokko also observed that her pairing with Dr Papa Kwasi Ndoum is very appropriate since the two have in common the attitudes of making things happen.
Miss Lokko added that the male-female pairing is complementary to each other since as a woman, she introduces caring and nurturing to politics, something which may be missing in a man.
Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom on Wednesday selected former Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Eva Lokko as his running mate for the December general elections.
Speaking to Radio XYZ on Ephson's File, Miss Lokko said although she is new to partisan politics she has a wide range of global exposure she will bring to bear and ensure that Ghana becomes a better place.
