Injunction against Ghana Football Association bound to fail

2016 GPL launch 2016 GPL launch

The injunction filed against the Ghana Football Association looks set to be quashed by the court judging from previous cases.

Babia Alhassan, claims he is not satisfied with the ruling of the case involving Tema Youth and Dreams FC, and went to the Tema High Court to seek a writ to stop the FA from going ahead with the 2015/2016 season this season.

But his capacity is in doubt as the club he claims to be affiliated to Real Athletico has disowned him.

Division One League side Tema Youth who are at the Court of Arbitration for Sport have also denied being behind the fan.

Often, fans who had headed to the law courts have had their applications thrown out because they lacked the capacity to sue the Ghana Football Association.

The substantive case between Babia Alhassan and the Ghana Football Association will be heard on 08 March.
