A new born baby rests in a crib after the would-be immigrant mother gave birth in a hospital in Puerto del Rosario, on the Spanish Fuerteventura Island, Tuesday Aug. 13, 2002. The mother, Mary Kalisha from Ghana, arrived illegally on the island Monday in a small motorized boat from Africa with at least two other pregnant women.
