Former Kumasi Mayor, Sam Pyne, has urged Ghanaians to ignore the so-called excerpts from the Mike Ocquaye Committee report, which reviewed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 elections.

According to him, these excerpts are being circulated by individuals who, after using marijuana, do not know what to do with their lives.

Sam Pyne made these remarks during an interview on Accra-based Asempa FM.

He emphasized that the content of the report has not been made public, except to the General Secretary of the party.

Therefore, he said, it is mischievous for anyone to claim knowledge of the report or quote supposed excerpts from it.

“We associate with some of these people, and we know that after they go and smoke marijuana, they come and sit on social media and engage in all kinds of things. Don’t pay attention to them,” he said.
