IGP visits police hospital

Many Ghanaians have come to appreciate the role the Police Hospital has been playing in providing health care, not only for service personnel, but for the general public.

In recognition of the unique services offered by the Police Hospital, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan, has had a durbar with the Senior Officers and staff of the hospital.

The IGP whiles congratulating the hospital for its increasing pivotal role in the provision of health services in the metropolis, urged them not to be complacent, but improve upon their services.

The Director of Medical Services of the Police Hospital, DCOP Dr. S. M Zackariah, thanked the Police Administration for the efforts to address the needs of the facility.

Dr. Zackariah was also full of praise for the Police Administration for its interest in the welfare of personnel on admission.

At the durbar, staff of the hospital present were given the opportunity to bring to the notice of the Police Administration their concerns to be addressed.

In attendance were Director-General of Services, COP/Mr. James Oppong Boanuh; Director-General/Technical, COP/Mr. Frank Adu-Poku; Director-General/HRD, COP/Mr. Patrick Timbillah; Director-General/Finance, COP/Dr. George Akuffo Dampare; Director-General/Medical Services, DCOP/Dr. Godfred Asiamah and Director-General/Public Affairs Department, DCOP/Rev. David Nenyi Ampah-Bennin.
